Safe Boating Classes

  • New York State Safe Boating This course is designed to be an introductory course to meet the boating education needs of recreational boaters and PWC Operators.

  • About Boating Safely. This boat safety course is designed to be an introductory course to meet the boating education needs of recreational boaters.
  • Boating Skills and Seamanship. This thirteen lesson course covers a wide variety of topics. The course is designed for the novice power boater. However, experienced boaters will also find useful information in this course.
  • Basic/Advanced Coastal Navigation. The Coastal navigation course familiarizes the boating public with voyage planning, aids to navigation, visual and electronic navigation, and chart reading/plotting. Don't plan on heading off-shore without first completing BCN/ACN.
